SCHEDULES AND SCHEDULE CHANGES
High school scheduling is not year round and is completed each semester. Students' teachers and the periods they take a subject is likely to change second semester. Due to the instructional needs of the school ,classes may be levelled which could result in schedule changes for students at the beginning of each semester.
Schedule changes will only be made for the approved reasons listed below. No changes will be made for different teacher requests or period requests. The schedule change procedure will be announced at the beginning of each semester.
Valid reasons for requests for schedule changes are:
Student has taken and passed class already
Student needs the class for graduation
Student has failed this class before with this teacher
Student has been incorrectly scheduled in the appropriate level
student has failed the prerequisite for the course.
Students and parents who have a concern with a teacher should contact the teacher to resolve the issue. If the problem has not been resolved, students/parents should contact the administrator who supervises the department.
